What are the steps after we fill out the form?
Once I've received your enquiry, I'll check my calendar to make sure I'm free for your wedding day. I'll reply as soon as I can, and if I am available, I'll send across my pricing guide. Once you know which package suites you best (or we've created a custom package together), I'll send across a booking form and contract. Then your date is locked and I'll be all yours for your Big Day!
How far in advance should we book your services to secure our wedding date?
As soon as you can! I only take a limited number of weddings and engagements per year, in order to make sure I have enough time, energy and love to give each of them. Check in with me, even if you only have a rough date.
We don't have a set date yet, can we still message you?
Of course! Even if you're still ironing out all the finer details, please feel free to reach out. I know finding the right venue and vendors and juggling between which ones are available can be tricky. Keep me in the loop, and I'll do my best to keep dates free for you.
What is your photography style?
I like to document things as they happen. I do some posing, but I try my best not to give in to doing "retakes". I believe a photograph should be authentic, a true moment or emotion captured in time. Of course, I still do group shots, and portraits, but even then, I usually wait for magic in between moments.
How long after the wedding will we receive the final edited photos?
You'll receive a small gallery of highlights 3-4 days after your wedding, and the complete gallery of finalized imaged 8-10 weeks later.
Do you offer videography services in addition to photography?
I focus solely on photography, but I've worked with some wonderful wedding film makers who I would gladly recommend to you.
Are you familiar with different wedding traditions and customs?
I've been fortunate enough to photograph weddings from an incredibly wide range of different cultures and religions. But please share the details of yours, just so I'm absolutely sure I don't miss a thing.
Do you offer albums or other print products?
I absolutely do! I offer prints and albums from vetted vendors in the UAE. I don't offer them included in my package, as I believe each couple has unique print needs. Once I've finalized your gallery, we can discuss what options suit you best.
Do you work alone or with an assistant or second photographer?
I mostly work alone, but for weddings where there are more than 100 guests, or where there are multiple locations involved, I work with a trusted second photographer who's style is similar to mine.
Me and/or my fiancé are camera shy! How do you work around this?
I'm camera shy! So, I completely get it. When it comes to couple's portraits, I tend not focus too much on posing. I will rather give you a few prompts or actions to encourage you two to interact together as a couple. That's usually when the magic happens, and I'm there to document those sweet, heartfelt, REAL moments.
